My name is Nicole Clark, and I am so excited to be starting a new school year at AR Turner Elementary. The beginning of school is such a fun experience that I can’t wait to share with you and your child. Since we will be seeing so much of each other, I would like to take a little time to share some things about myself with you. I was raised just down the road in New Waverly, Texas and went to school there from kindergarten until graduation. It was as a freshman at NWHS that I met my husband, and we married shortly after he graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2002. I then transferred from SHSU to Texas A & M in Texarkana, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Elementary Education. I have taught in both public and private schools and this year begins my ninth year in education. My husband and I have two wonderful children who both attend AR Turner. We also have two dogs, a cat, and a donkey. I LOVE to read, go to movies, and travel.
I believe that education starts at home, and I look forward to partnering with you...you are your child’s first and favorite teacher! I will do everything I can to support you and your efforts, and I hope that you will do the same for me. Together we can make sure your child feels safe, loved and important, so that they will be ready to learn all the academics Mrs. Durrenberger and I can teach them. If you ever have questions or concerns, you can reach me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I spend most of the day giving my undivided attention to your children, so please leave a message with the office if your call is urgent so I can attend to your needs more quickly. My conference time is from 9:30-10:05 A.M daily, and I would love to meet with you and discuss and questions and concerns you may have.
